Peanut Butter Bars

If Deloris's Fried Chicken will help make a friend, this recipe will help make best friends.

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1- 1lb package powder sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups crushed vanilla wafers
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1- 12 oz package chocolate chips

In a standard mixer fittrd with a paddle attachment, combine peanut butter and powdered sugar until well mixed. Add Vanilla Wafers, mix until blended well, and press mixture into a 9x13 casserole dish. Put in refrigerator to chill. In the meantime, warm heavy cream in a saucepan. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips and stir until melted. Pour over peanut butter mixture. place in refrigerator to stiffen. Cut into squares. Enjoy!

Mix the mayo, seasoning and lemon juice and let stand about 5 minutes. Fold in the chopped basil and then chill in the fridge for about an hour to let the flavors mix.
